In this peaceful moment inside a salt therapy room, I’m reminded that caring for the temple God gave us—our bodies—is also an act of worship. Surrounded by stillness, I share reflections on slowing down, listening for His voice, and letting His presence refresh every part of our being. Sometimes the Holy Spirit speaks loudest when we are quiet enough to hear.
This is SPARK—where faith meets action. Keep the fire burning, share this with someone who needs it, and remember: the time is now, and you are part of God’s Kingdom story.
Hi Facebook family. You have caught me in a spa day. I'm hooked up doing some NAD IV therapy. Kristen brought me a delicious matcha from Gilbert's and I'm in a beautiful salt room. And I just was thinking and I wanted to share on here the importance of taking care of these temples that God gave us. I have so many friends that just pour themselves out for others. And while that's so wonderful, we are called to treat others the way we want to be treated. And we're called to treat ourselves with love and care so that we can better love and care on others. You know, as a mom of two littles, I'm constantly pouring myself out for my kids. And it's very important to take care of yourself. So if you're a busy mom or a busy grandma or a busy friend or a busy entrepreneur, I would love to treat you to a free spa day here at the Simpson Institute of Chiropractic. It's right here in downtown Stewart. They offer... I mean, it's easier to say what they don't offer. They have a salt room with massage chair, which I'm currently in. They have a sun deck. They have infrared sauna, red light therapy bed, water, massage bed, facials, every type of massage. Actually, today I got the craziest massage you'll ever hear. It's called a TMJ massage, and they literally She massaged my neck, my jaw, and then it got crazy. She massaged inside my mouth, around my gums. It was the most painful massage of my entire life. It was right up there next to competing in a CrossFit competition and first-time childbirth, but for your face. But the benefits of it, you sleep better, you don't grind so much at night, it releases all the pressure and tension off of your jaw. And my jaw literally feels a hundred pounds lighter. So can't recommend that more. And we actually had a ladies spa day here with 17 ladies about two weeks ago. And it was just wonderful. I was reminded of the book of Esther when Esther and her friends for 12 months were in beauty treatments, getting ready to meet the King. And You know, how often do we prepare ourselves for our heavenly king, right? So it's so important to take care of ourselves because it's much easier to pour into others when you yourself are overflowing. And it dawned on me that God is looking for overcomers to be overflowers. So, oh, my massage chair ended. Let me just turn that baby back on. So when we go through bad things in life, the process of overcoming those things and being able to inspire others who are walking through similar things is what we're called to do. So, you know, when my mom took her life when I was 13, I never questioned her love for us, but what I was questioning was whether I would grow up and do the same. And that's really hard to live your life under this cloud that maybe your hormones would go out of whack when you're older and you just fall into a deep, dark pit of depression and want to end it all. That's a hard life mentally. So what I discovered through reading the Bible and personal development and surrounding myself with people who are just full of light and love is that I can create whatever future I want for myself and I am who God says I am. I'm not my intrusive thoughts. I'm not any of those things. So what I chose for myself is to live my most blessed, happy, joyful life ever and to overflow that into every single person I come in contact with. And let me tell you, it makes for a pretty epic life. If you would have told me this was the life I'd be living, eight years ago, I'd be like, really, really? But back then I had vision, so much vision. So I probably would have believed you. I still have vision, much more now. But yeah, if you want a free spa day, Let me know. I'll set it up. And you'll get a 30-minute massage. You'll get a 30-minute mini facial. You have access to the sun deck, the sauna, the cold plunge, the infrared light therapy bed, the hydro massage table. I did all those things today. So it makes for an amazing day. And my amazing husband is with the kids, so that makes it... that much easier. But I have to do this. Otherwise, forget about it. I would be strung out on stress and anxiety. But yeah, I mean, we love our kids. I nurse them, both of them. So you can imagine how much that takes on my back and my shoulders and my chest. It's a lot. And then our businesses. You know, being a woman in today's world, there's so many demands on our life and And being a business owner, there's so much. And the most important thing to have is faith in God, being deeply rooted in the word, and then outside of that, it's leverage. And having the right people helping you. Because the amount of things I'm able to accomplish with our team is staggering. It's staggering. And I'm so grateful. Oh, Kristen, that's so sweet. I love you too. We are definitely overdue. And hi, Cams. And hi, Lisa. Thank you for watching. And you are all invited to Sunday. It is my mom's, what would have been her 55th birthday. And 20 years since she's passed. And We are launching a new book called Blessed Beginnings. Biblical wisdom through pregnancy and parenthood. And it's been a book that's been in the making for a few years now. And it's everything I wish I knew before having kids. And it's what I've learned along the way. But some of the pieces of information are so vital to know before getting pregnant that I hope every single woman gets ahold of this book and assimilates it and puts it into practice because everything that we're being fed and taught is a lie. So there's that. And it's on a five acre farm. It's Kalita's farm right here in Palm City. And she has goats and chickens. She has a Cinderella princess carriage, a gorgeous rose garden where we can pick our own bouquets. There's an RV camping ground on the property with a hot tub and a fire pit for s'mores. There's a grill. There's an outdoor movie screen. There's space for food trucks and a playground and an area where we're going to have all the books set up. So we are so excited for Sunday for the Blessed Beginnings book launch and you're all invited. And Yeah, it's gonna be a wonderful time. I can't believe it's been 20 years since my mom passed. She would have literally been the best grandma. And the fact that I have Josh's mom in her place is such a blessing. And it's so cool how God can restore all the broken pieces of your life. And not only is she also Swedish, but she looks like my mom too, which is crazy. It's just crazy. Yeah, so such a blessing. Such a good God we have that literally will restore every area of brokenness in your life. Yeah. And that happened with my mom and something really bad happened with my dad too. So it's like my mother and my father have abandoned me, but the Lord has brought me up. And the funny thing is that Josh's parents separated after 35 years and they both remarried. And so now I have four in-laws. So not only did I lose my two parents, but I have four parents now and I love them all and they all love each other. It's crazy. It's crazy how God restores those things. So much so that we all just came back from a seven-day cruise with Josh's brother and his whole family and his other really close friend and his whole family. So there was 18 of us on this cruise. It was Royal Caribbean, Wonder of the Seas. And we went to St. Martin and St. Thomas and had the perfect day at Coco Cay. We had 10 baptisms on Coco Cay. 10 of us. got baptized five of us got re-baptized and the other five it was their first time this is huge revival starts with family and the fact that our family literally had the Horwitz family revival is just crazy amazing it's amazing yeah I did not see that coming seven years ago when I was introduced to this family did not see that coming but God saw it coming God is so good He's so good. And just to reiterate, please contact me if you want a completely free spa day at the Simpson Institute. That's where I am right now. I'm getting an IV and I'm in a salt room, in a massage chair, and lovely Krista got me a matcha from Gilbert's, because she's amazing, and a lemon poppy seed muffin because she just realized that I would be hungry. Like that is thoughtful. You know, do to others the way what you would have done to you. That was so sweet of her just to do that. That was so sweet. And what else? Tomorrow there is a homeschooling expo in West Palm at Palm Beach Atlantic. It is the best homeschooling expo in the area for the year. So I'll be there from nine to two tomorrow. Let me know if you wanna come. And then my girlfriend, it's her baby shower right after that. And her baby was born at 23 weeks at 1.6 pounds. Crazy. So her cervix opened and the baby just like went down and she had an emergency C-section and little guy is in the NICU right now and he's gaining weight, praise the Lord. And he's doing really good. It's just a miracle. I went to visit him in the NICU, I read him a little book, but God is present in the St. Mary's NICU, like 100%. And if you've never been in a NICU, I highly recommend it. Cause it will just touch, move and inspire you in ways you didn't even know were possible. It is the most precious little humans right there. All different stages, all different weights, all different sizes. And it's truly miraculous. Truly. What else can I tell you? We did our first home church at our house, at our new house. We've been doing home church for two and a half years. It started when my friend Nicholas, who is... He's a painter who preaches and he's a missionary in Haiti and he inspired us to start it. And we have live worship music with a guitarist who sings. Everyone brings a dish for the potluck and there's always an inspiring word and we pray for each other. And we've definitely seen miracles over these last two and a half years in this group, including my friend who couldn't get pregnant and then She was doing in vitro, she lost a baby. We all prayed over her and then miraculously she got pregnant with twins and now she's due in about a month and the twins are doing great. And then another friend who was just really deep in depression and anxiety, we all prayed over her and she was re-baptized and now she's just on fire for Christ. And yes, that's such a wonderful thing. So we did one at our new house and we anointed every corner of the house. Everyone took some holy oil and we just went to town. And it's such a great way to start your new life and a new home. While the house was being built, we wrote, our builder actually stamped across in the foundation when they poured the concrete right at the threshold at the front door. And he didn't realize it, but the night before we came and buried a big old Bible underneath the structure and the ground. And he just so happened to stamp the cross right on the foundation once they poured it. So that was so cool. God is so cool. I love when he just surprises us in the most miraculous ways. Speaking of crazy occurrences that just happened. So, you know, there's seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. There's prophet, apostle, teacher, pastor, healer, a few others. And I was always drawn to the prophetic one. And I was just reading the Bible about Jesus. deborah the prophetess who was the first one of the first judges of israel and how she went with uh the general and led the army into victory and that jl the badass woman invited sisera the the awful general into her tent and he fell asleep and she took a tent peg and Jammed it into his head and he died. Yeah, some badass stuff happened in the Bible. But I have a really cool prophetic story to share. One of our, I don't want to say their name, but our relative friend, we'll just call it. We were at church with them and they really want to sell their house. It's under contract and they're already under contract for their new home. And it's getting down to the wire. And there's barely any showings on their website. current house, obviously no offers. And I'm there in church and the whole message is about Joseph and how Joseph was faithful during temptations. And even when Potiphar's wife was after him day in and day out, he never wavered in his faith. And obedience comes before favor. So if you want the favor of God, you have to obey what he says. So I'm literally hearing God screaming at me that I need to deliver a message to our family friend. And so service ends, they call people up to the front for prayer, and I turn to him and I say, I have something to say to you. And he's like, what's up? And I say, you want your house to sell for all cash, quick close, no inspection, anointed buyer? You're not gonna get it until you repent. And he's like, what are you talking about? I'm like, you need to repent for your pornography addiction. And he's like, oh, way to call me out. And his wife is like, I didn't say anything. I didn't say anything. I'm like, you don't have to say anything. God's telling me. And he's like, what do I do? I'm like, you go to the front and you bring this oil and you ask them to anoint you and you confess your pornography addiction. And he's like, it's as simple as that. I'm like, it's as simple as that. So he takes the oil. He goes to the front. He tells him he has a pornography addiction. They pray over him and he comes back. I'm like, okay, get ready. I kid you not. Seven days later, he gets an all cash quick close short inspection offer and they're already past inspection now and they're closing on the same day that they close on their new house. God is good. God is so good. God is so good. But thank you for watching and may God bless you and keep you. May he shine his face upon you and be gracious to you. May he look upon you kindly and give you peace. And remember, three chapters a day keeps the devil away, keeps the sin away, and keeps the joy within. So that's a chapter of the Old Testament, a chapter of Proverbs, and a chapter of the New Testament. So if you do that every single day, After a year and a half, because that's how long it'll take you to go through the whole Bible, your life will be radically different. And then once you finish, get a new Bible, start over, and get one that has margins in the side because then you can write down all your prayers and your answered prayers and watch God blow your mind. Keep the faith.
