The Shocking Truth About Alignment and Blessing
Have you ever wondered why God's blessings seem to flow abundantly in some seasons but feel blocked in others? The answer lies in a powerful spiritual principle that transforms how we receive from heaven.
Alignment equals overflow availability. Like a martini glass that must stand perfectly upright to receive and overflow, our lives must be positioned correctly in God's will to experience His fullness. When tilted by disobedience or distraction, blessings spill out. When completely inverted through rebellion, we actively repel what God is pouring.
Throughout Scripture, God signaled divine alignment by changing names at pivotal moments—Abraham, Sarah, Peter, Esther—each renamed to align with their heavenly purpose before breakthrough manifested. Their renamed identities carried prophetic power that positioned them for destiny. Conversely, self-initiated name changes outside God's will often lead to spiritual misalignment and unfruitfulness.
My personal journey illustrates this principle perfectly. After years without a menstrual cycle through pregnancies and breastfeeding, my body mysteriously restored its natural rhythm precisely when multiple areas of my life came into alignment—weaning my daughter, setting up a prayer closet, decluttering my home, and prioritizing physical wellness. The timing wasn't coincidental but heaven's confirmation: "Daughter, you are in alignment. Now the overflow begins."
The beautiful truth is that realignment is always available. No matter how mispositioned we've become, we can return to proper alignment through repentance and surrender. When our altars are restored, bodies cared for, homes decluttered, and hearts surrendered, we position ourselves as vessels God can fill to overflowing.

Good morning family. It's a new day, a fresh start, and I'm so excited to share with you today's word. This one is burning in my spirit. Alignment equals overflow availability. When you are in alignment with God spirit, soul and body the blessings just don't trickle, they overflow. Picture this your life is like a martini glass. The only way that glass can overflow is if it's perfectly upright. When it's tilted, things spill. When it's upside down, not only does it not catch anything, it repels the flow and creates a mess. Try it at home. Put a martini glass under your kitchen sink. When it's upright, it fills and overflows. Tilt it and the water leaks out. Flip it and nothing gets in. That's exactly how life works. The only way for God's blessings to flow through you is when you're standing upright in his will.
Speaker 1:Misalignment comes when we step into things he never told us to do. Misalignment comes when we step into things he never told us to do. Throughout the Bible, when God was ready to release overflow, he often brought his people into alignment by changing their names. So Abram became Abraham. Abram meant exalted father. God changed it to Abraham, father of nations in Genesis 17, 5. Even when he was a hundred years old with no son. Every time he said his name he was speaking the promise. God also changed Sarai to Sarah. Sarai meant my princess. God renamed her to Sarah, meaning princess, at 90, when she finally believed it, her spirit was renewed and she conceived Isaac. Simon's name was changed to Peter. Simon meant he has heard. Jesus renamed him to Peter, the rock on which he would build his church in Matthew 16, 18. In Matthew 16, 18.
Speaker 1:Hadassah became Esther. Hadassah meant myrtle tree. As Esther, meaning star, she rose to her divine assignment and saved her people in Esther 2, 7. Daniel was changed to Balthasar In Babylon. Daniel's name was changed to Balthasar, meaning bell protects his life. But Daniel refused that false identity. He stayed aligned with who God said he was and God prospered him in a foreign land.
Speaker 1:When God ordains a name, it carries power, but when people rename themselves outside his will, like celebrities, porn stars, even marriages out of order, the fruit is rotten. Alignment brings blessing, misalignment brings ruin. Modern examples of misaligned name changes. Even in my own family I've seen this. My uncle and my grandfather, bud and Chappy, both changed their own names from what God and their parents had given them. Both changed their own names from what God and their parents had given them. They were originally both named Francis. Their lives were marked with adultery, lust, pride, greed, devastation and loss. Such tragedies followed them and I can't help but see the connection. A name out of alignment led to lives out of alignment and more recently, someone who publicly spoke against me on a podcast which, by the way, inspired me to start this very one took it upon themselves to change their own name. It wasn't their God-given birth name, it was something they choose unilaterally and by the Holy Spirit. I know for a fact that this person's life will not be blessed until they change their name back. Everything they put their hand to has not prospered, and it will not until they return to what God himself named them. That's the power of divine alignment. A personal testimony of alignment.
Speaker 1:And let me share my own story. For the past four years, I've only had four periods. Each pregnancy, each season of breastfeeding has been God's timing. After Genesee was born, my cycle returned a year after, right after our Israel trip, and three months later Gideon was conceived. Lately I've been praying for our next season. I sensed it was time to wean Genesee. Biblically, children were often weaned at age three. Well, it's been five days now and she's officially weaned. Whenever she asks for milk, I simply ask her what snack would you like instead? And she happily answers that is a miracle.
Speaker 1:Now let's talk about where it gets really incredible. Just four days ago I had another spa day and I did the NID IV therapy, which is like the IV of IVs. It has everything in it. It has glutathione B1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, all the way to 12. It has lots of things that regulate your hormones and your mood and your energy. And then I also did another session of chiropractic care, which is my second one in the last week since I was pregnant with Genesee, and I also did a massage. So that very night I told Josh, you know those feelings right before a period. I think I'm having those again. And I sat down to use the restroom and there it was Blood.
Speaker 1:After years of not cycling, my body began to flow again. I literally shouted the Lord is good, the Lord is God, the Lord is good, the Lord is God. On repeat, because it wasn't just a physical thing, it was a spiritual confirmation. The timing was no accident. Let's think of the timing the day after I weaned Genesee. The day after I finished setting up my prayer closet, my altar at home. My heart realigned the day after I cleaned out my closet, organized my clothes and removed the clutter, the same day as my second IV therapy and chiropractic care and massage. That was the day my mind, body and spirit came into full alignment and in that alignment my body flowed again. Heaven stamped it Daughter, you are in alignment. Now the overflow begins Family. That is what alignment looks like. When your altar is restored, when your body is cared for, when your home is decluttered, when your heart is surrendered, blessings flow.
Speaker 1:So I ask you, is your martini glass upright or is it tilted, spilling blessings, maybe even upside down, and repelling them? The good news is it's never too late to realign, repent surrender. Step back into who God says you are. Alignment equals availability, and availability unlocks overflow. Stand upright, be the vessel God can fill and watch him overflow your life with his goodness. Let me pray for you.
Speaker 1:Heavenly Father, I thank you that you are a God of order, a God of truth and a God of blessing. Lord, today I come before you asking that every part of my life and every person listening right now would be brought into perfect alignment with your will. Where there has been misalignment. Lord, bring conviction. Where there has been confusion, bring clarity. Where there has been rebellion, bring repentance. And where there has been delay, bring breakthrough.
Speaker 1:Father, we declare that our lives will be like upright vessels, ready to catch, to hold and to overflow. With your goodness, remove anything that is tilted, anything that is upside down, anything that resists your flow. Align our minds, our bodies and our spirits with heaven. Lord, just as you changed names in scripture to release destiny Abraham, sarah, peter, esther speak identity over us today. Remind us that who we are in you and let us walk in that truth boldly. I cancel every counterfeit name, every counterfeit assignment and every counterfeit identity that has tried to attach itself to us. In the name of Jesus, yeshua HaMashiach, I decree and declare we are who you say. We are, nothing less, nothing more. Now, lord, open the floodgates, let the overflow come health, healing, wholeness, provision, peace and joy and let our lives point back to you, the giver of every good and perfect gift, in Jesus's mighty name.
Speaker 1:Amen, all right, everybody, the Spirit of the Lord says, felt blocked. But I say to you it was never denial, it was misalignment. As you return to God's order, as you restore the altar in your homes and hearts. He will restore the flow. He will cause rivers to spring up where it felt barren. He will cause fruit to grow where there was once loss. The overflow is coming, not because of striving, but because of surrender. Watch and see as you stand upright in him. Nothing will be able to stop the abundance he is about to pour out. May God bless you and keep you. May he shine his face upon you and be gracious to you.
